3D Freeform Tube Bender Capabilities
Rainier Display is proud to be the only fabricator in North America that offers 3D Freeform Tube Bending. This digital machine outputs 20-foot sticks in the form of aluminum, stainless steel, PVC pipe, and more. We begin by entering the shape of the design into the tube bender program, then watch as the bender outputs 20-foot sticks in the exact shape found within each file.
Manufacturing with the Tube Bender
The Tube Bender has the capability to print on the tube prior to beginning the bending process. The properties of printing on a tube could include a var-code, OR-code, text (labeling), saw lines, drill holes, alignment marks, etc.
Once the artwork design is approved, we input the files into the Tube Bender. However, the files must be transformed into a different format prior to processing. The bender processes IGS. RHI. or DWG files of the approved graphic design. The longest tube that the bender can hold is 20’ long with a radium bend of approximately 6”.
